Why I prefer Quantity over Quality
This is one of the most debated questions of today.
Quality over quantity or quantity over quality?
I think a vast majority believes in quality over quantity for their own reasons. Many believe that in marketing, blogging, programs and in a range of different topics this saying can be applied.
This is true to some point, but in my perspective, I don't quite believe in it myself.
Languages
Say, you take languages as a mere example.
Now this saying can also be rephrased in this sense such that: would you rather prefer to know as many languages as possible with the basics only and not fluently or would you rather know 2 languages only but are capable of speaking them fluently and have a great sense of their vocabulary?
I don't know about you guys, but I'd prefer the first option.
Knowing the basics about as many languages as possible is far better than being excellent at 2 languages only!
You for instance meet a Spanish guy on some international online game that knows nothing about English and for the sake of proper coordination in the game, you need to speak to this "team mate" of yours.
What do you do if your choice is the latter? You'll perhaps only be excellent at English and French but what about Spanish?
You might just "Hola" at him (Pun intended) and that's it then, silence.
Shoot the army ranchers with that AK-47 while running side by side with a complete stranger you have no ways of coordinating with. Then find a flashing "Game over: You couldn't defeat the army in the time limit".
Is that what you want?
Now if only you had chosen the first option, dear.
You'd at least draw out, with the basic knowledge of Spanish that you have, to this Spanish gentleman the sketch of how to defeat these ranchers in the time limit allotted.
It's better than nothing!
More coming!..Till next time fellas~
